Accessibility Statement
This statement was last updated on December 29th, 2025.
We at the Lori Childs Campaign are working to make our site https://www.lorifor5th.com/accessible to people with disabilities.
What web accessibility means
An accessible website allows visitors with disabilities to browse with the same or similar level of ease and enjoyment as other visitors. This can be achieved by using built‑in browser and device capabilities, assistive technologies such as screen readers and keyboard navigation, and by designing and coding pages in ways that follow recognized accessibility standards.

Accessibility efforts on this site
This site is being developed and updated with reference to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, with the aim of meeting Level AA where feasible. Efforts include:
-
Using tools to scan for common accessibility issues and making needed adjustments.
-
Setting a consistent site language and clear heading structure to support screen readers.
-
Organizing content in a logical order so it can be navigated with a keyboard or assistive technology.
-
Providing alternative text for meaningful images where possible.
-
Choosing color combinations intended to offer sufficient contrast between text and background.
-
Reducing motion or animation that could be distracting or uncomfortable.
-
Working to make videos, audio, and attached documents more accessible through captions, transcripts, or accessible file formats where practical.

Accessibility work is ongoing, and some content may not yet fully meet all guidelines.

Third‑party content
Some features or content on this site may be provided by third‑party services (for example, embedded videos, donation platforms, or social media feeds). These services are outside the campaign’s direct control and may not fully meet the same accessibility standards. If you encounter barriers while using these embedded tools, please let the campaign know so that alternatives can be explored where possible.

Physical accessibility
The campaign hosts in‑person events and efforts are made to choose locations that are reasonably accessible, such as venues with step‑free entrances where available and accessible restrooms when possible. We encourage anyone who requires accommodations to reach out to the campaign at the contact information below at least 1 week prior to the event.

Requests, issues, and suggestions
